Delian Systems Ltd was formed in 1989 to provide quality services to design and build database systems that match the exacting requirements of various businesses.

Most of the databases that we have built are used by between 10 and 50 concurrent users although our largest system currently has in excess of 200 users.

Whilst we can address the needs of most types of business, recent activity has mainly been focused in the areas of:

• Publishing companies

The origin of Delian
Delian is the problem of constructing a cube that has twice the volume of a given cube. Also known as the duplication of the cube, it was first set by the Oracle of Delos in the fifth century BC as a condition for ending a plague. The problem cannot be solved by a ruler and compass alone (the tools available at the time), a fact that was not recognized until the nineteenth century.
